Pilates is a body conditioning routine that seeks to build flexibility, strength, endurance, coordination and improve posture. Pilates increases circulation and helps to sculpt and strengthen the body’s “core” through a combination of stretches and weight baring exercises. These exercises elongate and strengthen the muscles to create a tall lean physique.
Hatha Yoga is the most widely practiced form of yoga in the world. Hatha Yoga uses poses (asana) and conscious breathing (Pranayama) in combination with mental focus to develop awareness, strength, flexibility, and relaxation. Through proper alignment and mindful actions of the body Hatha Yoga brings balance, strength, and a sense of well-being to the practitioner.
